I’ve enjoyed playing tennis ever since I was a little girl. It’s such a fun sport and I especially love that it’s one that can be played not only as a child but also throughout adulthood. In recent years, tennis (and now pickleball) has become increasingly popular, and I’m here for it! With summer in full swing, I wanted to share some of my favorite tennis gifts. These ten gifts for tennis players are great to give on birthdays, Mother’s Day, as hostess gifts, or just as a fun way to celebrate a friend!
Why I Love Tennis
Before diving into my favorite tennis gifts, I thought I would share a little about why I love tennis. I started playing as a kid but then stopped for quite a while (other than random matches here and there). A few years ago, I dusted off my old tennis racket and started playing again with my sister, Molly. I now play with my friends a couple of times a month and I get so much enjoyment out of it! Not only is it a fun way to catch up with old friends, but it’s wonderful exercise.
I also love that tennis is a great family activity. My boys have played since they were three years old and both really enjoy it. We often play tennis together as a family on free Saturdays or while on vacation. If you’ve thrown around the idea of picking up the sport, I say go for it!
Favorite Tennis Gifts
With the current popularity of this sport, chances are one or more recipients on your gifting list this year are tennis players. Maybe a friend whom you like to practice with? Or a new neighbor whom you’d like to welcome to town? Or even a mom, cousin, or daughter who’s just learning to play? These top ten tennis gifts for her are not only stylish and fun, but they’re also useful!
